Unfortunately, I don't have a solution for Harry's problem, but I
seem to be getting a similar problem with the Hunter-Liggett Flight
database that came with the Performer 1.2 CD.
In my case, the whole database (including the ocean) seems to be
"flapping" up and down as I am flying over it (it would make a lovely
effect of flying over a desert on a very hot day, if that was what I
was looking for -- I'll have to figure out a way of reproducing this
on request some day).
It looks like all polygon vertices are moving between each frame, every
time the viewpoint changes. Could Harry and I be making a mistake in our
Performer set-up that would cause the graphics pipeline to experience
precision problems?
Does anybody see what could be causing this?
