        Degrees are more human-friendly than radians.

        All Performer colors should be floats in the range 0-1.
If you have any specific Performer API in mind which violates this,
let me know. I couldn't find any in a cursory search.

        If it's a float, it's 0-1. If it's a char, it's 0-255.
