  Hello,

I am a new user to Performer and love its capabilities. However, I
have the problem of trying to change the fog color after the
program has been initialized. I have looked at the performer program
perfly and I have tried different things to try and change the
pfFogColor() after the program has been initialized. I have no problem
changing the fog color during initialization. But if I want to change it
when the program is running I either core dump, or the fog basically
turns on and then turns off making the sky black as if at night. The
core dump comes from trying to use ApplyFog. Actually I've read that
there is a number of ways of applying fog to a scene and I don't think
perfly uses pfApplyFog because I could not find such a call in the functions.

We are trying to compare Performer's fog rendering to our own
recipe of interpolated fog rendering. I'd sure appreciate any
suggestions to this problem. Or can we change the fog color while the
program is running? Since we can change the fog type, I expect that we
can change the fog color also. Does anyone know where in perfly the
actual changing of fog type occurs once the program is running?

  Thanks in advance,
