I'm currently writing an integration of Tcl/Tk, which offers Motif-like
look and feel, and Performer. The GL part is pased on the glxwin
Tk widget by Michael Halle which can be obtained by anon ftp from
harbor.ecn.purdue.edu in /pub/tcl. Tcl/Tk is described in the excellent
book by John Ousterhout (Addison&Wesley, 94).

As far as I can judge now, GL, X11 and Performer work together
perfectly, and X11 programming is much less boring when you use
Tcl/Tk. Configuration and setup scripts in Tcl become peanuts, too,
and X resources work as well.
