Problems with reading text in perfly-gui.

Im am using a modified version of perfly (Performer 1.2) on a Crimson
RealityEngine with 1 rm using IRIX 5.2.

In order to multisample I have reduced the resolution to 960x680
with the result, that the text in the perfly gui is not readable when using
a horizontal gui (perfly -g2). When the gui is vertical (perfly -g1)
the gui is OK.

Does anyone have a simple solution to that?
