You didn't mention which version of IRIX is running on the other
machines. If they are running 5.1/5.2, the problem is that you
are trying to run a 4.0.5 binary under IRIX 5.x. Performer 1.0,
1.1 and 1.2-for-IRIX4 don't work well with the strict virtual
memory accounting that was introduced in IRIX 5.1. If you're
running IRIX 5.1/5.2, you really want to be running 1.2-for-IRIX5.

But if the other machines are 4.0.5, I'm not sure what would cause
memory problems. I'd need more information about the machine
configurations and exact error message.
