Hi Mr. Rohrer,

Yes, I'm aware the point billboards hadn't been implemented
in the Flight loader(s). It is on my todo list. I hope to get it
done sometime in Oct '94.

As a workaround, you might try modelling your point
billboards as axial, with special names. It may be easy
to traverse the scene graph and find the resulting
pfBillBoard nodes and change them to point.

Subject: Axial billboards, but point billboards?
Cc: jrohrer++at++afit.af.mil

Mr. Barnes,

        Thanks for your response. As suggested, the Multigen
axial billboard works just fine. Unfortunately, our application
requires a point billboard. According to a member of your
technical staff, this option described in the current
Multigen manual is not yet available (a bit frustrating).

        Again, thanks for your help.

JJ Rohrer and Jim Kestermann
