Typecasting the return from LoadFlt() like this isn't recommended.

Axial billboards are specified in Flight at the face level.
In MultiGen: model a face about the origin (seen from -Y)
, select modify attributes, check "Template Axis" (same
as axial billboard). To place the billboard off the origin,
insert a [T] matrix in the object or group above the face
and translate from the origin to the desired location.
You don't want to translate the vertices directly.
