The easiest thing to do is to model the geometry as billboards
in MultiGen.

If yous really need to convert non-billboard geometry, first make
sure that it meets the orientation and planarity requirements for
billboardable geometry (see the man pfBillboard page). If so,
you should be able to call LoadFlt on the file and then extract
the appropriate pfGeoSets and parent them under pfBillboards. If
you know the name of the pfGeode, you could use pfFindGeode and
then use pfGetGSet on the returned pfGeode. If names are not
available, you can traverse the scene graph using pfuTraverse
(see trav.c in /usr/src/Performer/src/lib/libpfutil) and extract
the pfGeoSets that way.
