At the Friends of Performer gathering at SIGGRAPH, quite a
few people requested a native C++ Performer API, so we're
thinking about doing one for 2.0. If a C++ API is high on
your list of desired features, please drop me an email saying
why (e.g. elegance, extensibility, etc.).
