C++ class library

Hello,

Realizing from the SIGGRAPH paper that libpf is written in C++, is there
an object-oriented interface that is part of Performer? If so, can I get
at it for application development? If not, is there any class library
out there that makes OO Performer application development easier?

It seems that the conversion of the libpf interface to C (by Performer)
and then writing a C++ wrapper around that (by me or ???) is overly
wasteful.
