I just joined the list last week and read as much as I could from the
FAQ, but couldn't find any info on how GL relates to Performer.
Perhaps this info is way too obvious for all of you so it is not in
the FAQ. However, I am new to SGI platforms and I am more a
researcher than a programmer and I couldn't make the relation from the
FAQ. What I want to know is if it is fairly simple and straight
forward to port some GL program to work with Performer? Are there any
porting ultilities available? We have a very large and complex
GL-based application running on multiprocessor machines and are
planning on buying Performer, but we would first like to know what is
involved programming wise and how fast we can make the transition.
Any help or pointers will be appreceiated.
