Hi all,

I agree with Jim in relation with the email overload and the idea to
create a newsgroup BUT ... be aware about the next issues:
        1) A big set of people only have access to the WAN using only low speed
modems.
        2) If info-performer goes to newsgroup, a big chunk of clients and SGI
subsidiaries (which donīt acess to newsgroups due to several reasons) will
lose contact with it. The reason is that a newsgroup takes more bandwidth
because the people trends to subscribe to lots of newsgroups. Briefly: in some
organizations they forbid newsgroups (including small SGI offices).

Then: PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE info-performer as MAILING LIST. IF YOU ARE
PLANING DOING IT, PLEASE KEEP THE MAILING LIST AS WELL.

P.D: Today we have a nice ISDN link, but we have suffered the above problem in
the past. (anyway we donīt use newsgroups).
