(1) Given a set of 3D triangles that represent a human head bone.
Is there a tool to generate cylindrical/spherical texture coordinates
such as the ones that are provided by Inventor's facilities?
Please note that I want to texture-map an image surrounding the
human head bone.
If anyone knows a better way of texture-map with other methods,
please suggest it to me.
(2) Is there a source code that corresponds to pfLoadTexFile(tex, name)?
I'm particularly interested in understanding the specific format of the
texture image file.
Although there is a description of such image file in GL's
Programming Guide, it seems that a real texture file has certain
header information (judging from the data provided in
/usr/src/Performer/data such as tree.rgba and wood256.rgb), doesn't it?
Anyone who knows the texture image format, please let me know.
I'd appreciate anyone who can give an answer to me.
