My situation: Our app has always been used with pfPhase set to
PFPHSE_FREE_RUN. Now we need a fixed frame rate
for taking experimental data. By setting the
phase to PFPHASE_LOCK the app is still looping,
but the display is frozen. I can change at will
between PFPHASE_LOCK and PFPHASE_FLOAT and the app
loops with no new display. Whenever I set the phase
back to PFPHASE_FREE_RUN, the app loops three more
times, then hangs. I have tried making PFPHASE_LOCK
the default (so we are not changing it dynamically)
but with the same results. We have never had any
problems changing the framerate while in PFPHASE_FREE_RUN.
My questions: How do I get it to work? :^) More specifically, are
we supposed to be able to change the phase dynamically?
Is this frozen display a bug in our code, or somewhere
else? Why would it hang when going to PFPHASE_FREE_RUN?
