Performer 1.2 Bounding Spheres

I have a question about the bounding spheres in Performer 1.2.
I have been trying to do collision detection between 2 objects
using pfSphereIsectSphere. The 2 objects are in Flight format
and are set up as DCSs. I get the bounding sphere from the DCS
and then check to see if the 2 objects are intersecting. I get
different results than what appears to be happening. I get a
result of maybe|true if the objects are nowhere near each other
I printed out the scene and found that the DCS bounding sphere
is moving with the object, but the Geode bounding sphere beneath
the DCS is not moving, is this a BUG????

ALSO if anyone has sample code for collision detection between 2
objects that are DCSs, I would love to see it.
