pfSegsIsectNode PFTRAV_IS_PATH problem

I just got Performer 1.2 and I am having problems with pfSegsIsectNode's
traversal path mode flag PFTRAV_IS_PATH. With the PFTRAV_IS_PATH flag not
ored into the mode, everything works fine. However when PFTRAV_IS_PATH is
used, I can no longer get intersections with my moving models. The static
portion of my scene works fine (I get an intersection with a valid path)
but DCSs with cloned geometry below them no longer returns an intersection.
Is there something else I need to do to get intersections with my moving
models and also get the intersection traversal path?
