You need to get the official version of Performer 1.2 which
should be shipping next week, if it isn't already.

Performer 1.2 for IRIX 4.0.5 gives you one of two versions of
libpr depending on your graphics hardware. In one of the 1.2
beta's, a call to multisample() sneaked into the
non-RealityEngine version. A workaround for the beta is to
generate a stub for the routine to keep the linker happy.
