Hi,

I am writting a simulation application in which I
plan to model the Earth, all of it, in geocentric
coordinate space. I would like to use the Earth/
Sky model but it assumes that the Z axis is "up"
and I will need "up" to be defined by the vector
coming from the center of the "earth" to the
camera's location.

I would like to specifiy the altitude and orientation
for the Earth/Sky to then use to render the background
with. If there is a way to do this, I have not found
it yet.

I assume that the Earth/Sky model is implemented through
libpr or GL...can I get the source, add my function,
recompile and relink libpf...maybe even add a man page?

Maybe I can "trick" the channel out just long enough for
it to render the correct Earth/Sky model and then switch
it back to the correct channel orientation? Or to take
it to an extreme, have two channels rendering to the
same screen...the first with just the ESky models, the
second with just my DB and no ESky.

If not, does anyone know just the algorithm? I'll code it up.

Any Ideas?
