My name is Paul Mlyniec. I have been maintaining the Flight format loader
for some time. I would guess that your problem stems from cleanTree
removing the nodes of interest. You can disable the call to cleanTree
with
a call to LoadFltMode() to test this hypothesis. (See README.SS in
/usr/src/Performer/src/lib/libpfflt). Also note the CB_CLEANNODE callback
in README.SS. Feel free to call me if you are still having problems. My
phone number is (408) 261-4123. Please let me know how this turns out in
any case, so that I can pass along the info to others. Thanks.

Which beta do you have? I believe this bug has been fixed in
the latest beta which is 94. Sorting was only disabled if you had
a preDraw callback. A simple workaround is to assign a dummy preDraw
callback or to install the newest beta.
