Hi

There is a known Z buffer bug in Reality Engine machines, that causes the
zclear() command to clear the Z buffer to 0x7fffff00, even when
getgdesc(GD_ZMAX) or getgconfig(GC_ZMAX) or getgconfig(GC_MS_ZMAX) ays that the
Z max value is 0x7f800000. lsetdepth() has no effect on that too.
Now, it seems that Performer does the same thing, i.e. clear the Z buffer to
0x7fffff00 regardless of anything. This could be OK if Performer would
lsetdepth() to the same value. Right now it doesn't and an inconsistency occures
if you try to interpret Z buffer data.

Thanks

Ran Yakir
