    I noticed a comment in the code of complex.c which says:

/*
 * These enables should be set to reflect to majority of the
 * database. If modt geometry is not textured, then texture
 * should be disabled. However, you then need to change the
 * FLIGHT-format file reader. (pfflt.c)
 */

    In my database, none of my flight format models are textured.
What performance increase could I get by making this modification?
Has anybody done this? I have not meddled in the workings of
pfflt.c. Does this require a lot of work, or just a change to
a pfEnable call?

                                                Thanks
