We are running a flight simulation based on the perfly demo from
Performer 1.0/1.1. The simulation is running on a 2cpu ONYX RE2 with
2 rm boards, and IRIX 5.1.1.3.
The problem is that after a random amount of time, anywhere from a few
seconds to several hours, the graphics lock up and the system logs us out.
The SYSLOG shows either :
unix: WARNING: RE pipe 0: FIFO timeout - or -
unix: WARNING: RE pipe 0: lightweight deactivation timed out
when the hang/logout problem occurs. We have two ONYX systems and this
problem occurs on both of them.
Is this a problem with Performer 1.0/1.1 or something else? Has anyone
else had a problem with systems locking up?
