performer and DIS

Hi. I'm actually just learning about the capabilities of performer. And I'm
interested in using it with Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS).

Could someone please help me resolve these questions:

Does Performer has any DIS capabilities in it, or is there is any plan to add
 the DIS standard to it? I had heard a rumor of this.

If not, is there any commercial or public-domain DIS standard code available
that any one can tell me about?

Is there a DIS mailing list?
