Simple problem :

I create a tree with a billboard. I have an explosion near this tree.
I must remove a part of these tree.

How can I found the index of a part of these tree (just to remove this part) ?
How can I draw these tree without re-drawing the whole billboard ?

Perhaps difficult to answer ?
