First you say the texture disappears but later you say "parts of the road"
disappear. Now if you mean the latter, is it possible the bounding boxes
of the road are incorrect and therefore culled out? Are the roads
procedurally generated? I don't remember what version of performer you
are using but I seem to recall some perf1.0 bug about culling multiple
levels of DCS's. I'm not sure though.
