I am running Performer 1.0 with a single processor Indigo2
Extreme as target platform. All my program does right now is
load 2 flight format models, place them on the screen one above
the other, and rotate them in opposite directions.
When I run this program, (requesting 30hz) it has a very
disturbing stutter. Viewing the stats, it appears to be
switching between 30hz and something around 5hz. This is not
consistant, and sometimes does not occur at all.
Tech support suggested that I run as root, but this is not
an option for me. I am going to doing much more ambitious
displays with flight format models, and I want to get this
resolved as soon as possible.
One last detail. I am writing my code in ada with a set of
bindings provided to me by Mr Embry at SGI.
I expect that this is probably a common problem that some
of you may have encountered, and solved.
