                           Cull problem

[Description of problem culling under DCSes of scale > 1]

I believe you want to rescale the bounding box, since it culls using this.
The box stays the same size unless you tell it to be dynamic or you
  rescale it yourself each time.

man pfNodeBBox - use arg PFN_BMODE_DYNAMIC

No. The bounding volume of the DCS is automatically recomputed. The
problem culling under scaled DCSes with scales > 1 is a bug in 1.0
that was fixed in 1.1. There is no easy workaround.

In general, you should never have to set bounding volumes manually
unless you are doing actual vertex warping or are doing massive scene
graph reorganizations and wish to avoid bounding volume recomputation
time by making bounding volumes static.
