All about IRIS Performer versions:

 IRIS Performer 1.0 is for IRIX 4.0.5 systems (everything except ...)
 IRIS Performer 1.1 is for IRIX 5.x systems (... Onyx and Indy)

If you upgrade your system to IRIX 5.x, you'll need to upgrade your copy
of IRIS Performer too. This is due to changes in multiprocessing support
in the Operating System.
