I've recently ported my application from Performer 1.0 to 1.2, but my
new version has all the wrong colors!!! Both my sky color and the
front material colors of my trimesh strips in my geo sets are coming
out wrong. I am using an EarthSky that has mode = PFES_FAST and color
set with PFES_CLEAR. For my trimesh polygons in my geo sets I'm using
indexing into a ColorTable.

What happens are a few strange things.
1. the sky color initially is displayed correctly with the color I set
in pfESkyColor the first frame but changes to another color as soon
as the call to pfClearChan happens in the next frame (I have my own
channel draw callback so need to call pfClearChan myself). The sky
color displayed is one of the colors in my ColorTable, not the color
   set in the pfEarthSky.
2. the sky color changes as the view position changes (both for xyz and
hpr) and the colors it changes to are those in my ColorTable.
3. the sky intensity changes when the light direction changes

My code is essentially unchanged from release 1.0 other than the
changes required to conform to new API (I ran the port1.2 script on
it). The code worked fine in release 1.0. If anyone has an idea
what's happening, please let me know. I also have some weird problems
with the colors that come out on my geo set triangles, but it's a lot
harder to explain that in an email msg. Probably the color problems
are all due to the same cause, so if I can get my sky colors right,
there's hope I'll fix my geo set polygon colors as well.
