Let's understand this whole issue once and for all.

The "Performer Town" and "Performer Village" databases were built for
us under a "non-distribution" agreement that we have respected. That's
why the files are encrypted in the demo directory. It's also explains
the difference in the perfly programs.

Both of the companies involved in the development of these sample data
bases, Paradigm Simulation of Dallas Texas and Software Systems of San
Jose California have agreed that distributing the databases in their
editable form is now fine.

We are removing the "Mobil" and "7-11" logos from the database now. When
we are done, we'll have a very nice database that will include all of the
textures, terrain, and feature data. This will be included in the next
release of IRIS Performer, which will be version 1.2.
