A Beta version of Performer 1.2 (alpha 55) is available for SGI
internal folks right now to use for testing, porting, etc. I'll
post installation instructions to the internal part of this list.

Approx. 25 beta sites have already been chosen and have had the
beta for the last month or so. There aren't any plans to add more
sites to the beta list.

Once I have an opportunity I'll post some info on 1.2 features.

The actual release date for Performer 1.2 hasn't been set yet, but
it would likely be around the end of the year.
