Hi John,

 Hmm ... that was the plan, for sure. This definitely works on Win32 but I
don't have a linux box here so I can't test it myself. On the other hand,
you could go and cd to /usr/share/Performer/src/lib/libpfdb/libpfiv and try
to build it statically yourself; just need to find a copy of libpfiv.a and
change the link line a bit.

 What happens if you run ldd on libpfiv.so? What dependencies are shown?
