Hi,
I'm running Performer 3.2.2 for 32-bit Linux. I noticed I couldn't load
an Inventor model until I'd installed the Inventor libraries. Wasn't
libpfiv.so supposed to have those statically linked into it?
> ls -l libpfiv.so*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 12 2006-02-28 18:53 libpfiv.so -> libpfiv.so.5
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 95220 2004-04-22 07:45 libpfiv.so.4
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 95252 2005-12-01 17:44 libpfiv.so.5
> sum libpfiv.so*
03024 94 libpfiv.so
04889 93 libpfiv.so.4
03024 94 libpfiv.so.5
Specifically, if I rename /usr/lib/libInventor.so, I can't load an .iv
file.
Do we still need the Inventor libraries to load iv files with Performer
3.2.2?
Thanks,
-John
