I guess my starting question is, why can't you download the trial
version for Windows? What happens? Does the download fail, is the file
truncated, does it seem to download ok but won't install, etc?
I find the FTP download works with more browsers than the HTTP download,
but that's just superstition.
According to "Properties" after the download:
Size: 178,402,806 bytes.
Size on disk: 178,405,376 bytes.
