Hello,
I am pretty much a novice in the field of graphics and especially, OpenGL,
but am highly interested in learning about the same. I have downloaded a few
sample codes from the Internet and am studying them currently. I was going
through the features of OpenGL, which states that it provides software
emulation and hardware accelaration. I have a rough idea of what this means,
but am interested in knowing more.
Specifically, is it possible for a developer like me to actually obtain a
software emulation of hardware features, like maybe the hardware buffers??
And if yes, considering that I am a newbie, how long it might take for me to
do so? Sorry for the later question, but even though we are here to learn,
we have to show some output in definite time to our superiors..
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Regards,
Priyanka Shah.
