Dear pfErs,
I have written a utility to morph the vertices and
textures of two models.
However, it requires that each model have the same
structure (type, number of vertices, number and
arrangement of textures and materials).
Unfortunately, Performer insists on building tristrips
and rearranging the geosets.
I know each loader behaves differently.
Some are tied to the pfdBuilder library, some, such as
the *.iv loader are not.
Can anyone give me specifics on how to prevent any
specific formats from rearranging the geosets, etc...?
I would say that *.flt, *.iv, *.wrl, and *.3ds are my
main model file options, but I would prefer to work
with *.iv.
