[info-performer] Multipipe background problem

I'm having a desktop/background problem when I try using 2 pipes on either an Onyx4 or Onyx350. I have an X-application that uses Performer to create multiple graphics windows that I want to direct amongst the available pipes. The problem that I have is that the pipes background is cleared to black and loses X functionality under the following conditions:

1. Start my X-application on pipe 0, use pfMultipipe(2), open a pfPipeWindow on pipe 0 (works as expected), then open a pfPipeWindow on pipe 1 (blacks out the pipe 1 desktop background).

2. Start my X-application on pipe 0, use pfMultipipe(2), open a single pfPipeWindow on pipe 1 (works as expected on pipe 1, but blacks out the pipe 0 desktop and hides my X-application).

Any solutions out there?
