Hi,

We are in the process of buying a number of 32 bit Linux systems for Performer
development targeted for our Prism Extreme running SUSE hosting our immersive
visualization environment. Since the Prism is running SUSE, we will be running
SUSE on the 32 bit systems.

If I understand correctly, Prism is running a version of SUSE 9.1. But I also
understand that for the desktop, SUSE Linux 10 is the current version with
10.1 coming out soon.

My question is does anyone have any recommendations as to which version of
SUSE should we run? What are the implications of running SUSE 10 on the
desktop with SUSE 9 on the Prism.
