[info-performer] Performance Problems with Linux kernel 2.6 and NVIDIA

Hi all,

on Linux systems with kernel 2.6 and nvidia graphics cards with the latest
driver our Performer application has strange performance problems: some
frames it renders quite normal ans then it becomes very slow. In the
statistics display the graphics load line has big amplitudes. It happens
mainly if an animation using pfSequence is rendered.

We have seen a similar problem with kernel 2.4 and some NVIDIA drives >
version 66.

Has anybody seens this before?
