Hi all,
Question 1
I have programmed Performer in C on a Linux platform and would now like
to also program on a Windows platform. Can anyone please point me in
the direction of how to compile and run a C program using Windows. I
have Visual C++ but don't yet know much about it and would rather stick
to C.
Question 2
I use Creator on an O2 to produce OpenFlight models version 15.7 Some
of the models contain a local spotlight to light up part of the model.
When the models are displayed using a modified version of Performer,
version 3.1 running on Red Hat Linux, they are read in correctly as the
number of local lights sources shows as 2 (the sun lighting the scene
and the spotlight) but the spotlight effect is not shown. Do I need to
add any code that will make the spotlight appear or should it by default
be displayed? Is there another way I can tell if the light has been
loaded correctly?
Thanks for any help,
Rob Body
