So performer obj loader dose not work verry well. we have rebuild it on
our performer to take care of a
few of these issues like textures, and materials. We also never load obj
files but rather use the loader to
convert them to pfb files. it seems that after performer loads about 20
of our models
(it's really the number of nodes that the loader creates that causes a
problem) the display comes up black, no menu etc.
The code for the libpfobj is in the performer source tree and you can
modify that to load things correctly. Ours will have
things in it that are meaningless to your app but could be a good start.
If you are interested in it I'll see if i can reliese it!
