Hello,
In my scene graph I am loading a series of .obj models (actually, the
chess pieces included in chess.zip from
http://www.sgi.com/products/software/opengl/examples/more_samples/) into
my OpenGL Performer application. I noticed that the object created by
calling pfdLoadFile(path_to_.obj) is of type pfGeode.
If I simply display this object as is, it 'looks black'. As in, it could
pass for a black chess piece. Naturally, I also need white pieces, so I'm
trying to figure out how to change the color of the model.
I have tried modifying the existing pfGeoSet attached to the pfGeode, I've
also tried removing it completely and inserting my own. This gives me
either a pure white piece (with no features) or some random rainbowy
colors.
How should I go about this?
Thank you for any insights,
Mike
