I have a model of a skydome that a vendor sold me.
It is essentially a scalable half dome, with a nice sky and cloud
texture.
Under Linux, my application loads it just fine, with Performer.
Under Linux, Perfly loads it just fine.
Under Windows, Perfly loads it just fine.
Under Windows, my application loads it without texture.
The texture file is rgba.
I thought this was a problem, but discovered after printing the geosets
on all configurations that in my app, under windows only, there are no
texcoords.
Perfly somehow manages to generate some. (but it says no texgen either).
In windows, I can run perfly, and write out a pfb, and pfa.
Either have texcoords, according to perfly, when run again.
The pfa is easy to read. It has texcoords.
By cutting and pasting, I can create a pfVec2 array, and manually assign
the texcoords in my application, and I get texture, but it's wrong
(streched, disjointed, etc...). I get the texcoords from a cut and paste
of the pfa.
My application dies when trying to load the pfb. It says there are no
gsets.
What is going on here? Why can perfly do this when another app cannot?
The pfb loader is initted, so it's not that.
Thanks,
Chris
