Hello Volumizers and Performers,

It's that time of the year again! At this year's IEEE Visualization
conference in Minneapolis, we are organizing a BOF session on Parallel
Graphics and Visualization and would be delighted if you can come and
share your views with other people from the Vis community.

        Birds of a Feather - Parallel Graphics and Visualization

        Oct 25, Tuesday 6:15 -8:15PM, Ballroom A
        Refreshments will be served

        This BOF brings together various researchers in the field of
parallel
        graphics and visualization techniques. The meeting will have a
couple
        short presentations followed by informal discussions on the
types of
        problems people are working on and the challenges in the field.
Some
        of the topics of discussion would include -
        * The latest developments in parallel graphics technologies
        * Parallel graphics software & APIs
        * Future trends in Parallel Graphics and Visualization

Note: This year we are not having a separate BOF on OpenGL Volumizer or
on OpenGL Multipipe SDK. Instead, we would be providing a quick update
on the latest developments in Volumizer and MPK during the Parallel
Graphics BOF.
