No no; this (3.2.1) is the version we had finished just before SIGGRAPH
and were previewing there. We've since been working on 3.2.2. For that
rev we do plan to bring back the Linux "compat" rpms (SCR 942555), and
also another item you were interested in, to bundle a static Inventor
with the .iv loader (SCR 942556). 3.2.2 is targeted for completion
around late Nov / early Dec.

No news so far..

Those wheels are turning but Performer has a somewhat different (albeit
partially overlapping) release cycle & customer mix than Volumizer.

The release announced today (Performer 3.2.1) includes an IRIX version.
We also plan to do a full-blown release of our next version (3.2.2) on
IRIX, and will bundle it with IRIX 6.5.29, which ships in Feb 2006.

Once we get into the Performer 3.3 series next year, the question is:
whether Performer will continue to support IRIX through (a) another
full-blown release, (b) patches driven by customer service cases and/or
SGI Professional Services (consulting) deals. Still TBD..
