Hi,
I'm trying to create translucent text strings using pfText/pfString.
If I use a textured font, it works. If all I do is change the style in
pfdLoadFont_type1 from textured to extruded, it's opaque. The font I'm
using is Times-Elfin.
Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
I do create a pfGeoState, set its transparency mode and set the pfString
to use the geostate. I know this is working because I can set the
textured font's transparency this way.
Also,I never got any response to my earlier question about using the
pfdBuilder to optimize text strings. I guess the answer is:
"You can't do it"?
Lastly, does anyone have any experience with creating other fonts usable
by pfdLoadFont_type1, or know a site where they can be downloaded?
Thanks again,
-John
