Say I've created a chain link fence. I want to grab a portion of it
(by selecting the appropriate vertexes with a box). I do a SHIFT-D and
I get a duplicate copy of those vertexes that I can put somewhere
else. Great! But when I TAB back to object mode I find they're the
same object. Can I somehow tell it that this portion of vertexes is
actually another object? Your help is much appreciated!
