Hi,

I'm not able to access Performer man pages on SuSE Linux 9.0 (we had to move
from RedHat for several reasons). I get a warning message about "bogus
filename". It seems this issue has been reported before, see below. Is there
any chance we will get a fix for this or is there a workaround?

The normal man, as supplied with SUSE and Debian and probably some other
distributions can't be configured (afaik) to handle that filename convention.
I already reported this multiple times to the Performer group and thus far
have only got "Yes, we'll need to fix that" :)

I wrote a little shell-script that filters out the C pages if there's a C++
page for it and renames the whole bunch to get it working. It's ugly, but it
works. Drop me a mail if you're interested.

Regards,
 Jeroen
