Hi,
I have some tests:
-I have created a test.flt file of about 43MB with Creator 2.6.1;
- I increased the size of virtual memory to 12285MB on my PC with Windows XP
Pro SP2, Pentium IV at 2.4GHz and 1 GB RAM;
- I run "pfconv test.flt test.pfb" visualized the Performence tab of
Windows Task Manager;
- before running pfconv memory usage was 183MB
- after click on Enter the memory usage increased from 262MB to 1.73MB and
crashed with errors (memory decreased at 410MB):
"pfmemory::new() Unable to allocate 321064 bytes from the heap"
"pfcalloc error "
 "combineLODs() unable to process group g42629"
"libpf: Unable to allocate 1572864 bytes from the heap"
and pfconv finish.
The variable PFSHAREDSIZE is not defined in WINDOWS !!!?

Best regards,
Aurelian FEJER
